Midtone Tempered Glass Palette by Art School Co.
We searched for a midtone, tempered glass palette for our own use & for students but struggled to find them within Australia, so we made our own!
They are locally produced here on the Sunshine Coast. The grey colour of the palette is neutral & allows artists see the colours as they will appear on their toned paintings.
The Tone of the glass sits in the middle of the tonal range so makes it easier to see/ mix what colours you need. The glass is light so if you're holding it for hours on end it doesn't feel too heavy. It being tempered it's a bit hardier than your average glass, won't smash as easily & if it does won't shatter into pieces.
